This Middle Grade spooky, paranormal book is inspired by my local small-town and a myth/legend that was quite popular back in the day. No one knows how the story started or its background, so I thought I would write one :)

Here's the book pitch! Small Spaces x The Girl in White
No one knew who started the myth of the ghost baby down at Cry Baby Holler Bridge. Thirteen-year-old Emma hadn't ever cared. It was just a fun way to scare people, up until the night when Emma actually saw a ghost. Now Emma is cursed and must solve the mystery of Cry Baby Holler or lose her family, forever.
I always wanted to write a fantasy that takes place in the Medieval ages ! This story is a fairytale retelling but with a prince as the main character. There's lots of action and adventure, pirates, gnomes, chases, a dragon, and of course, a cat!

Here'sthebook pitch!! The Thirteenth Fairy x Heroes of Havensong And for fans of Gail Carson Levine
Twelve- year-old Prince Freddy must do something heroic to prove to his kingdom that he's not evil, as his fortune foretold. After escaping the tower he's been locked in since birth, Freddy goes on a quest in search of a heroic deed that will change his fate. But the task is a bit more dangerous and 'fire-breathing' than he expected.
Come along on this fun, hopeful, and humorous adventure/self-discovery quest with my self-conscious, quirky, prince and see what it takes to change ones fate!
I'm so excited about this book! This cozy middle grade fantasy is like reading a warm hug that smells of sweet apple pies.

Book Pitch! This story features the hopefulness and coming-of-age feels of My Neighbor Totoro, the coziness found in Anne of Green Gables, and the world-building and magic of The Tea Dragon Society.
Here's a synopsis sample: 12-year-old Winnie Stirling is a magicless witch still waiting on her powers when she spends her summer break with her Nana in the cozy valley of Starlight Hollow. Winnie loves staying on her Nana's farm and helping her take care of the animals. She's also glad to have a break from her life back in the city. Winnie hasn't felt like herself since her grandfather, Pa, passed away. She also hasn't felt like talking to her friends and wonders if they still even want to be friends with her. Winnie's best friend is her plushie cat, Chester, who she shares all her hopes, one being that her magic will help her be OK again.
One day, while getting a new book from the "Maeve's Favorites" section at the bookstore, Winnie runs into Maeve, and she's her age! There's something special about Maeve and Winnie finds herself wanting to talk again and be a friend. While hanging out together over the summer, Winnie finds her happiness returning even without getting her magic.
But when one of Nana’s cows becomes very sick, and no one’s magic can help, Winnie has to face her memories again of losing her grandpa and the overwhelming emotions that come with it. When Nana gives Winnie a special letter written by Pa that's just for her, it brings hope and answers that Winnie needs to move forward, help herself and others, and find her magic.
